Trooper and I compete in Rally and Obedience in the AKC. Rally Obedience is a dog sport wherein the dog and handler navigate a course designed by a rally judge. The course contains various signs that direct the dog/handler team to perform certain maneuvers.
Participants compete in Rally compete at a level of Novice, Advanced, and Excellent. After the Excellent title is earned, the team can then compete for their RAE title.
Obedience participants compete at a Novice, Open and Utility level. Trooper and I have completed the Novice level and are ready to learn the next step!
Trooper and I have competed in AKC Obedience and have earned Trooper's CD title (Companion Dog). We hope to train for the next level so we can compete in Open!
We have also earned Trooper's Novice and Advanced titles in AKC Rally Events as well as his Novice titles in Standard and Jumpers in Agility!
